there are thousands of year 2000 and under class A motorhomes and none have slides and they sell and resell every day
39K is high for that rig though
youre saying 1000 coaches are sold in a day... on average?

Correct! When I bought my unit, I was specifically looking for NO slide outs. We do not plan to live in it any extended period of time, and I did not want the extra weight and hassle of slide outs! Not everybody who has a MH wants to carry the entire house around!

If I ever get the urge for more square feet I will go longer before getting a unit with slide(s).

Quote "It has been maintained with an open checkbook." I like a low maintenance budget so we can afford other optional things like gas and food.

When I bought my non-slide in 2002, it was already discounted for not having slides at that time.
It is amazing to me that someone thinks that a discounted non-slide purchased today would think that it will lose any significant value in the future because it is a non-slide.
I think that mantra is wearing thin as viable advice after 10 or more years of use.

Like others we sold our non-slide 38' 1991 Beaver in 2007 to a couple who did not want a slide. They were ecstatic with the maintenance and the condition and bought it immediately for $65k, I was asking $67k.

Justice would be when those posters put their rigs up for sale, they get down to the point where they have a commitment to buy from a buyer, but get a call 30 minutes before the buyer was to pay for the rig and be told by that buyer that he posted the details of the transaction on these forums and found out he was paying too much and there were much better rigs for a much lower price elsewhere (even though there will be absolutely no documentation proving that, just some random posts how a potentially similar rig in unknown condition was supposedly sold 2000 miles away at a lower price.) In my opinion, if the buyer is happy with the rig, happy with the price, he should make the purchase and not care whether or not it is the deal of the decade.

We owned a 1996 Monaco Dynasty 38' coach with a 325 Cummins engine. We really liked that coach, had a few issues, but that's par for the course. We traded it on a 2005 3 slide Allegro Bus. If the Dynasty your looking at is as nice as you say I don't think you'll go wrong. Not sure about the price, no recent info on the value of the mid-90's Monaco's.
