Currently I own a 2009 F-350 DRW Diesel CC and am very happy with it other than the mileage, I knew it would not do real well but expected at least 15 or so MPG currently get 10 or so on a good day and am seriously considering trading in on a 2012 DRW model
Would you 2011-12 F350/450 DRW Diesel owners give me an Honest MPG figure on your rigs please. I know there are a number of factors envolved driving habits, etc. but would appreciate any input
Thank You
BTW: That 10 MPG is Empty, carrying the camper get around 8 MPG

2011 F350 King Ranch dually crew cab, 4 X 4, 6.7L diesel. Right now just @ 4,000 miles on it, so really not close to being broke in. 3.73 rear axle ratio (I think all F350 are this ratio).
I would say on average @ 65 MPH I get 16.5 to 17.5 MPG, all depending on wind. I have gotten better at times. A 60 miles trip at night, driving at 55 MPH because its oh so thick with deer around here, it showed 20 MPG on the dash computer. All figures are empty, non-towing as I have not towed my fiver with it yet.

Thank You, you said you had 4K on it mine has 15K are you saying that they improve with miles driven ? Never owned a diesel before this one so really have no knowledge of engine performance over time.
2011 Ford F350 Dually 4X4 with 6.7 Diesel. The last 2,200 miles with Bigfoot 1500 9.5 foot camper (about 3,300 lbs loaded) on at all times averaged 13.3 mpg. Truck has 6,600 to 8,800 miles on it. Mixture of interstate, two lane and dirt road driving. Best mileage was 14.8 mpg, and worst was 12.0 mpg.
