Jonny
We had our first coach for 2 years before selling and purchasing something larger. That coach was a Winnebago Journey 40 ft. We too loved everything about it but wanted 4 slides and a bigger fuel tank. The Journey had a 100 gallon and our Bus has the 150 gallon tank. It makes a LOT of difference in our fuel stops now.
Go to this forum and ask your questions there. There are a lot of good folks on this forum with lots of them owning the same coach you are considering. Good luck!

Well tomorrow is the big day!! I am taking delivery on a brand new 2011 Tiffin Phaeton. I spent a ton of time cleaning out the old Winnebago. I am really going to miss the old girl. I hope she finds a great home! That coach has supplied our family with some of the greatest memories over the past 8 years. I know our new Phaeton will start the next chapter and I am VERY excited. I hope one day I will see the old Winnebago going down the road with a guy in the drivers seat with big grin! Just like mine.

Jonny 31C, I know you are so excited. It sure brings back memories when we picked our coach up new in April of '07. I absolutely could not sleep the night before the delivery!

Please post pics. If there is a refection of a person with a huge smile on their face, we will know who it is!

Congrats,
MM.

You are on the right track for getting the best deal. If it falls through you can always email sales managers from other dealers but becareful of lost leaders.

You should be able to get 30% off that coach if it's a new 2011. You can figure on about 25% off right now for a 2012.

On RV Online, there is a 2011 Tiffin Phaeton with 4 slides for sale in Forest Hill, MD for $219,000. Pictures look nice and has only 6,800 miles. It also comes with a 7 year Prizm extended warranty which is a good company. Seems like it may be worth a look. Here is a link: Phaeton

Also do a search on RV Search to see what pricing and product is available accross the country: RV Search

I have also heard that LazyDays has good deals on Tiffins.

Well as an update...I am now the proud owner of a 2011 Tiffin Phaeton. The final deal was VERY good and i am happy. the coach is ridiculous!! The ride is simply in a different league from the Winnebago gasser. I have had a couple issues that are getting resolved...and I am taking off on our maiden voyage this weekend. I have literally spent 10 hours both Saturday and Sunday getting her ready for the trip. I still have about 4 more hours of stuff to do. I can't wait to start cruising down 95!! pictures to come soon
