Thanks msmith1199 for your information. I was hoping my winning bid for San Francisco Fisherman's Warf area would in fact be for the Holiday Inn because of its location. I got my wish. Since it was my first time to try Priceline's bidding process, I was extremely happy with the results.
For msmith1199 and all other locals, do you know of any great Chinese restaurants in downtown San Francisco or in the Concord/Walnut Creek area. My wife and I both love Chinese food and would love to sample some of the areas great Chinese restaurants.
The hotel you're at in SF isn't in downtown, but it's not far. But Chinatown is between Fisherman's Warf and Downtown. I'm sure they have some good chinese places there. When I go to SF we usually do seafood either at the Warf or on Peir 39 so I can't help you on Chinese. I can't help you on Walnut Creek either. I used to work in that area 25 years ago, and I'm familiar with the area, but not enough to remember any restuarants.
