It has been so hard to keep Bubba groomed, he loves the water and loves to roll in the sand. He also hates to have a brush or comb put on him. I don't know if he had some bad experiences in his first 16 months before we had him.
So to make all our lives a little easier this is what we did.
I think he likes it, he struts a bit when he walks and he just seems like a happy little "FOX"

Cute. We have a long haired Chihuahua and she sheds so much, even after using the Furminator, that we call her a hairy Chihuahua. Right now I keep a T-Shirt on her to keep the hair down and it has helped a lot. If she weren't so skiddish, I'd attempt shaving her like this.

I think he looks cute, Sher. It would look out of place on a sheltie like Andy, but they do shave them occasionally in rescue if they're too badly matted. I bet he's more comfortable too. A sweet little fox!

If we were up in New York right now I know I wouldn't have done this to him but down here we're in the low's 80's and when he gets wet it is so hard to get him dry.
We leave here in May so I think I'll keep it this short for summer up north too!
