I am lost in the experiance, Why 2. Use the chasis as a ground.If you run them under the floor run them in a Pvc pipe and then terminate the pipe with elbows at the floor.

I'm in the same boat as the OP and was wondering what to do as well. What sort of foam are you guys talking about? Is this the foam insulation stuff? I thought it broke down quickly and I didn't realize that it was waterproof.

TTTim, it doesn't look like you have any strain relief through those holes. Would this be a potential problem?

This is how I did mine:



It is just a little 500W inverter with #8 wires.
I used silicone sealer through the floor and the insulation/plastic under shield.

The foam is the "Great Stuff" foam insulation. And it breaks down rather quickly in sunlight. But all you have to do is paint it to keep that from happening. Hence the black spray paint (blends with all of the other black colored stuff under the trailer).

Just use some duct tape to keep the bugs out.
