Forecasts indicate it's going to be forty degrees below zero all this year in Washington State...
OH!
And the U.S. State Department has a Supersecret Travel Advisory against visiting Border States like Washington etc...
Might be best to stay down there and be Summer AND Winter Texans this year!

Leaving RGV on March 15th heading back toward St. Louis. Will spend week of March 19th camping with granddaughters at Branson. Back to St. Louis in time for Cardinals opening day but won't go......can't afford the tickets.

Looking around the Ft. Myers area in Fl. you would never know any of the snowbirds left... The "season" officially ends Easter week here.
In my life I've spent my money on women, booze, Harleys, guitars and traveling, the rest I just wasted...

We leave Rockport this coming Sunday heading to a Good Sam Meeting in Lebanon Tennessee then on to Spring City, Tn. I hope someone turns on the heat in that state. Hate to leave Rockport it is a great place to live as Winter Texans might have to make it permanent next year. Thank you Rockport for making us feel like family. See you in Oct.

Some people come down for only 2 weeks to one month,even though they are retired. My wifes sister,and her husband,just retired,with two RV's,yet they stayed home in Mich,to remodel their kitchen,(nuts).
