If you are going to install gauges and switches on your dash, be sure to think about where you place the controls in regards to where your knees or thighs might contact during the possibilty of a collision.
I have seen some serious injuries to knees and upper leg injuries from impact of Off Road Light switches, Brake Controlers and possibly compressor regulators gauges. That is why the lower dash is elongated and pointed downward to help body parts miss items behind the steering wheel and other physical items.

I put my valves in front of the rear wheel well. There was all ready a hole. A compressor would be awesome, but I don't have one. My buddy has his next to the license plate. Pain to get to that if your tc hangs over.
FYI: I installed my own airbags. By the time I bought the tools to do it, I could've paid for the install. Took a few hours. One bolt was almost too short to get a thread bite. I conquered though.

I installed the AirLift wireless compressor. It has a remote control with LCD read out for pressures and automatically keeps the bags at the set pressure. You can stand 20ft from the truck and just hit the up button until the truck is level. Has presets too once you find the right pressure you can just hit the preset button and load up.
Works well since I also pull a dump trailer and deckover which is always loaded at different weights.

Mine are on a mounting plate on the rear tow hitch. It is a bit of a hassle in that location when the camper is on, but I can use my bicycle pump since the valvles are close to the ground

A question for the folks that put them behind the fuel fill door; how do you monitor when the bags are lifting off the over load?
One of the main advantages of having them in the wheel well is you can see the amount of lift as you fill the bags...
Also, I check tires and air bags just prior to hitting the road any way.
I had considered a compressor with in cab controls, etc...I figured I could add this after if we needed to. After 5 yrs, I have found I fiddle very little with the bags once they are set...so I am glad I did not spend the $ for the in cab set-up. That is 2x the $ of the air bags.
For us it is set/forget.

I installed mine individually behind the fuel doors, one behind each, I can get to them very easily at any time and don't have to crawl under the camper to do it. Obviously the dealer doesn't have a TC.I also used electrical wire tubing to run the lines through to eliminate any rubbing that might happen.
