Yeah, i guess since there will be three of us there should be room in the black tank. My only concern was that like someone else mentioned, its only 30 gallons. The gray is 60. I can see where it would be helpful to be able to turn the water on to fill prior to flushing though.

Mine goes to grey. If we fill the grey and it backs up in the shower it also backs up in the outside sink

On our Rockwood 2902SS the shower drains to the black tank. We have to check the fill levels after every shower but emptying the black tank is a less gross of a task than my Jayco.

I don't like that at all! I can't begin to count how many times I have filled my grey tanks because of showers and the water backs up into the tub. I would hate to think about standing in black water.

Mine goes to the black water. I think it is good to have some non black water go into the black tank, especially soapy water, keeps things moving!

RV Guy, Prime Time's Exec, explained their rationale for doing this about 6 months ago over on the Forest River Forum and Prime Time Blog. I can't seem to find it. As we discussed over on the other forum...this is not a mistake....PT has a rationale for this practice. My 318bhs drains the same way....I will PM you if I find it.......

Yeah he sent me a PM and said that the closest tank was the black and it would be really hard to get that water over to the gray tank. Its understandable, just wish that the black was a tad bit bigger
