I could use a little input from everyone. I am thinking of replacing my toilet in my 40 footer with the Thetford Aria Deluxe Electric flush. Anyone that has one, I would appreciate any input on the good and the bad. I have heard that they are really loud. Thanks

We have an electric one. Not loud at all. Love it, except when the circut board went bad last summer in Utah. $375 later I got 1 fed ex and installed it in 90 seconds....a little pricey for a circut board.

We had one in our previous coach and it required a new bowl seal after two years. They do make noise, but I wouldn't consider it really loud. They are not cheap to repair and I don't think they are any better than a conventional rv toilet.

Our current coach came with the Aria electric. If I have to replace mine I would not pick the same one. A manual china flush is what I would check out.

The electric flush is a little noisey, but never enough to really make us think about it. I like the fact that it has two water settings. When dry camping we set it to a single water flush. When hooked up, we set it to the 4X water flush. Ours is seven years old and never an issue. Its china with a large oblong seat instead of the small round type.

We have the same toilet and like it. I wouldn't say it's "TOO" loud, but it's not quiet either. It works just fine. Our circuit board was replaced under recall...

Do these electric toilets have a manual overide for flushing/filling if they develop an electrical problem?

Have had the Aria and the Opus. Both have manual overides. Had some of the problems aboove with the Aria. The Opus has been trouble free. The china is easy to clean and the 17" height is a comfy plus.
