The reason this pipe freezes is because this is the drain pipe for your galley water. The dump valve for this tank hangs about 8 inches below the camper. The reason it freezes is because when it is closed the water in the holding tank is right there at the valve. So the valve is below the tank and below the heated underbelly so therefore it is exposed to the elements. This explanation comes directly from the man who has to crawl approx. under the slide about 3 feet to open this valve in order to drain the tank. Now when you spoke earlier in your comments you obviously knew nothing about a fuzion Blizzard package made in 2011. So i would suggest that if you are interested find a 2011 blizzard pkg fuzion and look under it and see this design flaw.

My Voltage has the fresh water drains hanging down. Uninsulated. They would freeze too.

On the Cyclone the valves are up above the belly pan. The furnace is supposed to heat the belly pan area. I have not, nor do I ever plan to test it below freezing. No doubt somebody has.

exactly old geaser as these should have been placed also. the other 3 tanks are designed inside the heated belly. I travel in my job, and the reason we purchased this was due to the "blizzard" package which created this a 4 season rv. Other than this 1 tank all my other tanks have worked as expected and have never froze, (freesh water, black water and shower grey water). The rv is nicely insulated to keep heating cost equal to home heating and is comfortable to live in except for the 2 factory designs.

I was told their advertising would not lead any logical thinking person to believe they could camp at temperatures below freezing. The fresh water dump valve is also outside the underbelly and froze solid on me. ...False advertising pure and simple.
I don't understand why they would put heaters in the tanks if the intent wasn't to facilitate camping in below freezing temps?
All this makes me wonder about my XLR...the tanks have heaters but all dump valves and lines leading to them are exposed. I'm guessing I'll have the same problem dumping them if below freezing. Probably a worse problem than Peggy.

Did you see the first 2 comments post my original question. I was truley trying to get feedback from others as to if they had this problem, so once I addressed this concern with the Keystone rep they would begin to address it to there customers. Unlike the person in the previous comment who was told by Keystone "that there product was not meant to perform as advertised."

Yes. I see ALL the posts: the good and the not so good.

We had a Fleetwood GearBox prior to our 2010 302 Fuzion. The GearBox had the heating strips on the holding tanks. So when the temps would be at freezing levels, you turn them on and no frozen tanks. SO when we saw that our Fuzion had a "Blizzard Package" we too thought we'd have something that truly kept things from freezing up. When we did the walk-thru, I asked where are the heat strip buttons, oh this one doesn't have that and then we were told how the blizzard package worked. We don't typically camp in freezing weather, but did this past February (dry camping), the water worked in the bedroom, but nothing came out of the sink faucet in the kitchen.

Yes and what is good about Fuzion is the fact it does not rely on heat strips, which can go bad, but the underbelly is all insulated and is heated by the furnace system, so as long as your heat system is working it should keep your tanks bathed in approx 42 degs. the problem lies with that galley tank is not completely inside the insulated belly. This winter we woke one morning to freezing temps and our water hose froze (pre heat strip). Of course it had to be the first morning of my new contract job. But no problem we had water in our fresh water tank and the shower drained. but oh that galley, bless their hearts.
