That's a new one.
Maybe a dirty regulator. Lower gas pressure.

I think what they may be talking about is....when your unit sits for awhile the propane will dissapate (sp) out of the line and when you try and light your appliances it takes a bit of time to get the air out of the line and the propane back up to the appliance.
One way to help is to light the burners on the stove first.

A propane tank is under high pressure. The only way to get air in would be to completely empty the tank and leave the valve open. Even if some air got in, it would come out with the propane gas and be gone in no time at all.
If your stove burners work normally, you don't have a problem with the propane itself.

I presume you mean your water heater?
Are you getting a good spark?
Have you tried manually lighting it?
Sometimes the jet can get clogged. It happened to me. I took the jet out and cleaned out a pile of rusty crud behind in on my Chinook. Worked great after that.
I was getting a weak flame that wouldn't heat the thermocouple enough to keep it running regularly. It got progressively worse until I couldn't keep it lit.

Plus on on the HUNH?
Air in the line, not air in the tank. Plus one on light a stove burner first.
The Clean the jet is good too.
Maybe we should ask. Do the Frig and stove work well? If not maybe the regulator.

Brand new propane tanks that have never been filled do have air in them and do need to be purged of that air. However, once done it never needs to be done again. However, the lines from the regulator to the appliances can get air in them if they sit unused for extended periods of time.
I doubt if the "jet" needs to be cleaned. I have heard of insects or insect nests getting into the burner tube and causing a problem.
