entered WATER MISER BATTERY CAPS on Google and found excellent information I've never seen before that describes the answers to our "BATTERY AND BATTERY COMPARTMENT PROBLEMS".
Thank you for starting this topic.

The level should be about 1/8 to 1/4 inch below the ring at the bottom of the cell cap. You may have been overfilling the batteries for 2 years.
If they are overfilled they will carry liquid up when they are charged.
I would blame the Interstate Batteries for now. I used them in my past trailer. They started going bad in 3 to 4 years of use. Your voltage numbers do no show any charging problem with your current system.
My T-105's on my motor-home are originals and still going strong since fall of 2002.

Are you filling the batteries when they are not fully charged?
Batteries should only be watered after they are fully charged.

Hi All.
Hog Wash. I have used Interstate Battries on our last two RV's. Our last RV was a 5er. The OEM Converter/Charger was an Intell PD 9100, a 45 amp Converter/Charger. This OEM one, did not have a Charge Wizard, nor could you add one.
I replaced the Converter/Charger with an Intell PD 9145 amp, with the Charge Wizard. I had a pair of Interstate Group 27's, 12 Volt Battries. I also used a Battery Watering System.
Not once was there ever any water on top of our Interstate Battries. When we sold our 5er, those Interstae Battries were 8 years old, and still holding a good charge.
When we bought our Motorhome, it had a pair of Trojen 12 Volt Battries, one was totally dry and dead, and the second Trojen was not far behind the first one. I was able to salvage the second Trojen.
Since you don't mix and old Battries, we wanted to go with New Interstae 6 Volt Golf Cart Battrires. Our Motorhome also had the crappy Megntech 45 amp Converter/Charger in it. Pure Junk. Also Boiled the battery bank. Who wants a Converter/Charger that takes up to 36 hours to recharge a Batterty Bank at 50%, back to 100% state of charge.
I replaced the OEM Megntec with an Intell Pd 4655 amp Converter/Charger with the Built-In Charge Wizard. I also put in two 6 Volt Interstae Battries. Also with a Watering System. Again, not so much as one drop of water has ever been on top of our Battery Bank.
Our two Interste 6 Volt Golf Cart Battries are already 4 years old, and still holding a perfect charge. Don't blame the Battries.
As a matter of fact, with a good Converter/Charger, with the Charge Wizard, we find that we only need to check our Distilled Water Level only a couple of times a year.
Something else is wrong if you only get 2 to 3 years out of any Battery. Maybe they are being drained to low to many times, and abused to often to shorten their life span. Or maybe you just got a pair of Lemons. Trojens have failed early also, so there not perfect either.
You must be doing something right, as your T-105's are now 10 years old and still going. I think maybe you just got a pair of Lemons.
We have been RV'ers for a litle over 45 years now. And we have never had to replace any of our Battries, no mattter what brand they are, at 2 to 3 years old.
And we have never had standing water on any Battery we have ever owned, period.
