I would take the outside cover off the heater and check inside. There maybe an on / off switch at the heater simular to the one one on your hot water heater. If nothing else, call the dealer you bought the rig at asn ask them. 2012 should be under warrenty I would think.

Take it to the dealer.

If nothing comes on like the fan or the ticking my guess would be something electrical like the mother board or the mother board not plugged in.

Have you ever used the furnace before? Look through the manuals that came with the trailer. There is probley one for the furnace in there. It may have information that can help you. Or, maybe, if your lucky, even a number you can call.

Thanks for everyone's replies. I have pretty much exhausted every suggestion and finally called the dealer. They too went through every possible solution that has been presented here. So its going in next weekend and they are going to take a look. Popular opinion seems to be that maybe the thermostat itself has malfunctioned. If given the option to repair or replace, any suggestions about maybe getting a better thermostat?

Funny thing just happened. I was just outside showing the TT to a family member and I glanced over at the thermostat and noticed that the needle that indicates the room temp had moved over considerably. Previously, it was all the way to the left indicating <50 degrees. The lever on top of the thermostat (that sets the desired temp from cooler to warmer) was in the warmest position. So I went out and turned the propane on and the heat came on! Can anyone explain this?

Maybe something was "stuck" or froze in the thermostat and after it warmed up a little and moved on its own that freed it? Very wierd. I would put a better stat in like a digital one that tells you the actual temp and what you have it set for. But hey it works now so I would probably also just use it the way it is and see if you have any other issues. My dealer told me to just make a list and bring the trailer back when I get my list of repair needs built up (ie warrenty stuff)

Is the battery charged or the trailer plugged in?
