I don't know where the mystery is in these MOTORCOACH RESORTS.... it's obvious that there is a certain population of very affluent RV owners that prefer the ambiance, appointments, amenities and especially, the exclusivity that those parks provide. WHY some allow Class C's is a whole other issue. And that is NOT to say that all Prevost owners prefer that type of park - I'm sure many of us have been parked next to one and enjoyed a cup of morning coffee with the occupants.
Besides... If that population of very affluent RV owners didn't exist... neither would the MOTORCOACH ONLY RESORTS - or am I missing something?
I remember one time we were in Branson, Mo at USA Campground. A rally for Prevosts was taking place and there were 16 of those beauties. The folks were, for the most part, snobbish and unsociable. Funny thing, when it was time to leave they all had to "dump" just like I did in my Class C. I guess we are all alike in some ways.....

there are business geared at every single aspect in life. restricted, controlled, business plan in place, type of business it wishes to promote, profits to be made, cater to niche markets, etc.
No different than going to a seafood only restaurant. geez, would one call it snobbery or something cause they won't serve a burger?
There is a big difference. Everyone can choose to go or not to go to a seafood only restaurant. Not everyone can choose to go to a motorhome only park, and besides I wouldnt want to camp there anyway. Every where I have been the big motorhome people come in put the thing over the windsheild and thats the last time you see them until its time to leave

We were told they only accepted motorhomes. Then, as we turned around to leave, another man ran out and said that he thought maybe we were a motorhome after all. We thanks him nicely but went elsewhere. We camped in a huge place in Arizona with friends who were Full Timers and had been there for a few weeks. They didn't "usually" accept Class B's, but made an exception for us. We looked so funny parked in there with those monster MH's but everyone was very nice. lizzie
That is ironic, because a good number of class Bs are more expensive than some class A rigs. One class B I saw was more expensive ($250,000) than a good amount of DPs.
Well I do not have a Class A or Class C but I do tow a Landmark 5th Wheel Full Body Paint $100,000 with a $56,000 Dually = $156,000 more than a lot of Class A or C's and a heck of a lot better looking.
I've been to a few private CG's that had the small trailers in a separate area from the big rigs; primarily for access reasons (narrow roadway, tight curve/loop, etc). Distance between the actual sites were the same as the others. It was very nice because water, sewer, & electric hookups were all close together and my shorter hoses reached.

If I thought I could manage to get away with it I would get a tarp, a wash cloth and some trail mix and half a dozen young women and camp in an exclusive for tenters only park.
Prevost envy? Let'em eat cake.
Seriously, We enjoyed a nice Class A only Resort once.
Would like to go back.
Doesn't matter though. The envy thing is never going away. We don't have to be part of it though.
Enjoy the summer wherever you park it.
I'll heat up the grill if you'll make the ice cream.

No, you forget that the contents of their black tanks don't stink.
