Wife is busy wiping down the woodwork in the MH.
I noticed that the finish is nice but I'm thinking of applying some wipe on finish. I use to use boiled Linseed thinned just right with turpentine.
I don't think so, in the confines of the MH though. Can't imagine I would live long enough for the odors to go away or what they might do to other things.
The wood is quite handsome and a little better finishing would look great.
Anything out there that won't require a gas mask or fire extinguisher?

Watco teak oil does a nice job. Very good for touching up dings in finish. Wipe on with a cloth. Instead of using screw cap, I punch a hole in opposit corner and seal it up with a metal screw. Screw cap will get locked up on first use.

Make sure to dispose of the rags that you use with Watco oil. It can spontainiously combust really easy. I know this from personnal experience unfortunately.

Other than that I swear by it.

That's what I used on our fiver's cheap wood. Made everything shine beautifully and smell fresh. Will use the same on our new TC.

Get a can of "Restore . A . Finish" and rub on em. It comes in the different finishes. I use the Oak on the TT & stick home cabinets. Then apply "Howard Feed-N-Wax" Wood Preserver, it's a Beeswax and Orange oil. Will make your cabinets look like new without stripping the the finish off em.

Until I had to do a repair, the only real wood in my fiver was the firewood in the front compartment.

Back when I had time to build & restore, I used to like to finish with tung oil. Not smelly or oily when dry. Note: "Pure tung oil" is tung oil; "tung oil finish" is not, and may not actually contain any tung oil.
