Thanks mexbungalows. I'm VERY familiar with all those brands and, though I've communicated with Robin a few times over the years I never had seen "the rest of the story".

I had a 2KW Heart Interface inverter powering our home 24/7 for about 20 years with no problems. I replaced it a few years ago when I moved from propane refrigeration to electric, and the MSW inverters are hard on motors so I installed a Magnum inverter.

We still have the Heart, just sitting in the garage, because the thing weighs 82# so it can't be easily shipped.

I also have a 2.5KW Trace inverter that powers my well and pressure pump.

And I use three Outback charge controllers.
