'57 T-Bird also black with black and white seats 312 V-8 not the fastest of the line but that baby had top end I was clocked at 141 once but I had a uniformed cop in the car with me. Now that was a chick magnet. Still to this day one of the best looking cars in my mind more so than even the '55 and '56 models. I traded it for a Candy Apple Red '64 LeMans when I went into the Service in '68. Never got a ticket in the T-Bird but sold the LeMans after 4 tickets in 3 months.

Mine was a white 61 T-Bird with red interior, 390 cu in gas hog but who cared at .20 cents a gal. Best thing was the swing away steering wheel.

1957 Ford w/ 6 cyl engine and three on the tree shifter. Cost me $150 dollars and ran very well. Was sure easy to work on with no emissions junk. There was no power anything, including windows, brakes and steering. Also included were manual throttle and choke controls. A far cry from the computer controlled vehicles we drive today!

First car I had was a 1960 Chevy Bel Air 4 door sedan with an inline 6 and a 2 speed powerglide tranny...it was ugly and slow but it had a HUGE back seat.

I'll buy it for what you paid for it...$ 125.00 !! That way you won't have lost anything over the years.

1949 Oldsmobile Convertible. It had a 303 ci V8 motor with a 4 speed hydro-matic transmission. Unbelievably fast for a 1949.

I was born in Great Falls, Mt. My parents moved when I was 5. I found them when I was 10 - they were in California.

1964 Volkswagon Bug, White with white rims with chrome center caps, chrome bumpers and front door handles. It's a coupe, no rear doors on it back then. 10 gallon tank back then, being 1973 the cost was at most $5.00 total per tank of gas. Minimum wage was $1.75 an hour. 40 Hours was 70.00 bucks. It was below $72.00 bucks a week so no taxes were taken out. Simpler time, sure do miss it.
