Hi,

Are there any cheap or alternative methods of cleaning a rubber roof on a class c?

That rubber roof cleaner at Camping world is 30 bucks a gallon, wondering if there are any house hold type cleaners that would work just as well.

Thanks for any info.

Any mild detergent that does NOT contain mineral spirits or petroleum distillates will work just fine (manufacturer recommends Spic n Span but it's getting kind of hard to find). Soft brush used from a ladder (NOT by walking on the roof) and the labor is free

Why don't you walk on the roof?

X2... I use a garden sprayer with water, bleach and Dawn dish soap, spray it on a dry roof and watch all the mildew spots dissapear, then just hose it off real good a few minutes later. Once a year, I will use a long handle soft bristle brush to remove the oxidation buildup that causes the streaking down the windshield, then a coat of 303

Full timing it since July 2012 My pics

Hi all thanks for the advice.
