Marcus - on about mar.17 I placed an internet order for two items, charged to my credit card. I, almost immediately, received the automatic email- order received and being processed so I sat back and relaxed until yesterday (Mar. 25) my wife asked when the order might come! I tried tracking my order, number 10517177 - no record!!
I called customer service last evening and connected to a great customer service agent "Daniel" who researched my problem and eventually resolved it by replacing the order with a new number etc.
Point of writing - complain over CW 'losing' the original but praising and thanking Daniel for resolving it. Fortunately I only lost a bit of time but since we have no plan to travel until May it is not an inconvenience.
Please pass on our "kudu" to Daniel in customer service.

Hopefully you will receive your order. About 3 weeks ago, Marcus told me I would receive mine and to date, I have not seen it or any correspondence about when I might get it. He is trying, but his managers are evidently fighting him at every turn.

Thank you for getting to the bottom of this. My question still stands, if the item was in fact on back order since 6/14/2009 as my paper work from CW shows, why was it listed as available on the website?

This is something similar that happened to me with the after Thanksgiving sale. The X chocks showed in stock and didn't receive an email until a week later stating out of stock and my husband's Christmas present wasn't arriving until the next year. Called customer service and that was just worthless and less than sympathetic. I went back and checked the computer and still showed in stock,but clearly they were not. I called my local Camping World in Bakersfield and the manager honored the price online went to the shelf and got the product for me and took it to my car. He apologized profusely for something he had not done, but provided the excellent customer service that was initially lacking. He also told me he would honor online prices just provide the print out. No more online purchases for me.
