I am leaving in April to travel to Drumright. I have heard that Tulsa has a lot of construction going on and wonder if there is an alternative to use back highway and avoid Tulsa. It looks like Highway 66 from Bristol might be a better choice.

We just left Tulsa and took the Creek Turnpike (toll) around Tulsa to 44. Well worth it.

The Creek Turnpike will let you avoid the construction, as said before.
