Gary ... not sure which is your problem window. We had one (our kitchen table window) approx 30" x 36" wide, a slider which the permanent side was fogged. I removed the inside trim, coaxed the frame away by using a couple of wood wedges. Took the whole assembly to someone (a reliable someone) he replaced both glass. I bought a tube of window sealent ... put a bead all around and it slipped back in easily.

If you like to visit Oregon rather than traveling east:

http://www.daverootrvglassrepair.com/

He does great work at reasonable prices. He lives near Bend and travels to Crown Villa RV resort to do work - worth the visit!

BTW - NEVER clean Dual Pain Windows with any cleaner with Ammonia! = It will always break the seals!

Crater or Diamond Lake are ALWAYS worth the visit!

I had posted a reply here, but seems to be gone now, so not sure what happened.

I have several fogged windows on my Pace as well. It's at the top of my list now that our mh is back in the driveway. I will be doing the repair myself. If you look at your windows, there are screws around the frame on the inside. I believe you remove the screws, remove the inside piece of the frame, then remove the window from the outside. The two panes of glass are held together by an adhesive/sealer that is available from Amazon. You cut through the old seal, open the panes, clean them, layout the new seal, and put them back together, then reinstall.
Members here have done this, and have stated that it's not a very difficult job at all. On some of the bigger windows, obviously it would be helpful to have another set of hands when taking the window out or reinstalling it, but $500/window buys a lot of steaks for the grill, which usually turns out plenty of helpers

The other option is to remove the window and take it to a glass company and have them clean and re-seal the panes.

I'll post progress once I get going on them.

IMO dual pane windows make no sense for a rolling home, unless you live and stay in the far north.

Try to find a single pane replacement solution.

Dual pane is simply a DUAL PAIN maintenance issue.

What about staying in the heat?

ya'd think so, wouldn't ya? i spent months...literally months...contacting glass companies, auto glass companies, RV service shops (one wanted to replace one of the windows for $3K!) and anyone else i could think of before i stumbled upon Suncoast Designers in florida. had a bunch of windows done for $700 total.

Had the same issue on one of our 2006 Suncruiser window.
When I had it in for PM at Redlands Truck and RV (Redlands CA) I had it repaired.
They have someone that they use to fix them. Had it fixed two years ago no problems since. You could call Keith or Mike and talk to them.

Yep. Heat, cold, noise . . . . .

After having a camper without dual pane windows and now having experienced the motor home with them I'll never have anything without them again. Even with the pain factor, and yes I have 3 with some fog, still like them.

Call Crystal Glass & Mirror in Santa Ana Ca, Ask for Vanesa 1-800-GLASS 2U . I had two of my large windows and the passenger side window replaced on my 2007 Southwind. They installed brand new dual pane windows. They are great people and do great work.

I took the advice of Medic and dropped the RV off at Crystal Glass in Santa Ana last Friday. They seem to know what their doing, having done this for Mike Thompson and other RV places for many years. They remove the frame, take out the glass, make a pattern, send it out for new glass and re-install it. They thought about a week. They charge by the square foot on the glass plus labor on the install. They were more reasonable than anyone I found. They are replacing 10 panes ( a window with a fixed portion and a slider counts two)for a total of $2300. Holland ended up as a dead end. Their vendor increased his stated fee bringing it to $500 per pane! Thanks for your help. I will let you know how I come out.

I wonder why anyone would replace the glass when it is the seal between the two panes that is the issue. Glass can certainly be cleaned and reinstalled with new seals at a much more reasonable rate.
