First trip of the year, Cherry Creek State Park. Pretty nice camping. The facilities are nice/clean, the campsites are concrete slabs with some gravel and a fire pit. Native to Colorado, been living in Denver seventteen years, first time here and am happy with our camp site. All of the sites look pretty good. I would recommend Cherry Creek. It's in the city but the state park is big enough that it's not all that bad. Plus there's free wifi.

Thanks for posting this! The wife and I were just talking about taking the trailer out to Cherry Creek. We have never camped there before and were wondering how the campsites were. We are now looking for close(er) camping, say within a 3 hour drive from Denver. So any other suggestions you have, please share.
