Will reheated scrambled eggs be gross?

I've been making char siu bao, a Chinese bbq pork bun and freezing them. They're excellent reheated in the microwave. So, I've been thinking; scramble some eggs, make hash browns, mix it all with some cheese, and use that for filling in the buns.

I would freeze these and thaw in the microwave for quick breakfast on the road. I know all will freeze and reheat well, except maybe the eggs. I could also do burritos for something different.

You can buy frozen breakfast meals -- including breakfast burritos -- that include eggs, so why not?

They sell precooked frozen scrambled eggs at the grocery store so it must work.

They freeze fine. Let me suggest you reheat them in a double boiler and not the microwave because they lose their texture.

I was curious myself, so I googled frozen scrambled eggs. Most of the answers that I found pulled the same stunt I tried to pull in school. If you don't know the answer, suggest a better question and then answer that. Somebody said that Aunt Jemima makes frozen breakfasts with scrambled eggs, but they didn't volunteer info about taste or texture.
So, after wasting 10 minutes of my life that I'll never get back, I still don't know the answer. I think the OP should try it and report back. The RV world wants to know!

Freezing scrambled eggs? really? It has to be one of the easiest things on the planet to do. No thanks, I will take mine fresh out of the pan.

they freeze fine. cook them with a little onion and chopped bacon or ham or sausage and then wrap them in a burrito and freeze the whole thing.

They freeze just fine.

Only problem is after thawing - they taste like cardboard.

I don't care for the texture after freezing and reheating. You can scramble them quickly in the microwave, it only takes a few seconds and will give you a better result.
