Why not just get the belt driven, 2-speed, vacuum shift supercharger off of a 1955 Kaiser Manhattan or Darrin, or a Studebaker Golden Hawk?
Or just go wild and get the blower off of a 4/53 Detroit Diesel?
Sure, the 6/71 blower is bigger, but you probably don't really need THAT much!
While you are at it, don't forget the cold fuel canister that you can pack with dry ice.

Don't forget to replace the muffler bearings with hi perf versions rated for the increased airflow.......

If you replace the muffler bearings, you will also need to hone out the clapper valve or it will stick.

So, what kind of mileage do the leaf blowers get?

Go ahead and make fun of it. I put one on my Saturn wagon and NASCAR showed up at the house and made me sign a document saying I would never race it at Daytona.

6-71 blower isn't that big...that's what my Gremlin runs! For a bigger engine, I might go 8-71.
