They also give you a pay-as-you-go cell phone to use while in country. We rented the 6-berth which is about the biggest you can rent down there. I was amazed at how quickly I got used to driving on the left, plus working the shifter to my left - after a day I was an old pro.

How did you find the Mitsu Fuso or Canter to drive? Responsive enough? Ride?

Power was respectable, engine braking on downhills amazing. Handles fine, even at highway speeds. A bit of a "tin can" - not alot of sound proofing so alot of road noise, especially when pebbles and such get kicked up in the wheel well. But, being so light you almost feel like you are in a car.

My last known location (is here)

They use Isuzu based ones here.Much more insulated, about the same performance as a Sprinter. 19,000GVWR 27,0000lb GCWR. Even as a light truck they do handle well, better than the E350, they range from 27 to 31ft.
