We put our coffee maker outside on a table and run it off the outdoor outlet on the camper. Since I am almost always the first one up, I go start the coffee for the DW and it's ready when she gets up. She drinks it all day so it stays outside and stays on nice and hot for her. Usually makes a fresh pot after lunch that lasts her till bedtime. Don't ask me how she drinks all that and sleeps but she does without any major effect. Well, she does get bug eyed once in a while if she makes 3 pots but it doesn't affect her sleeping.

X3!

I have the mini kuerig coffee maker. I am the only one that drinks coffee, so the one cup at a time works for me AND I love flavored coffee, so all the different flavored K-cups are fun for me too! It has a little canvas case it goes in and I just slip in into the closet for traveling.

I agree with an earlier post...good water is what makes the most difference!

x2 (wow alot of responses while i was typing this, so make that x4? or is it x5 now?)

We picked up a Keurig single cup (no water resevoir beyond 10 ounces)
Keurig Money Reducer

It at least saves on space, and no carafe to protect, nothing to wash, no filters to dump out. We usualy have 3 to 4 cups total per day so a larger maker was a "waste" of coffee, but at $7 for 12 kcups, space and cleanup time have to be worth almost $2 per day to you.

I have tried them all. Again, all. I have the B&D under cabinet digital and it works well. I also carry a Chemex and a French Press and like those as well. I have the Keurig Mini, the Keurig Platinum and the Keurig B50 and they all work fine. As far as the Keurig, I still have issues with the cost of the cups and don't like the My K-Cup that allows me to use my own ground coffee.
And, that is the key to the best tasting coffee, using your own, freshly ground arabica coffee beans.
A few days ago, I found the new Hamilton Beach Scoop on Craigslist for $15.00 and decided to give it a try.
So far, I like this much better than the Keurig. All one does is use the scoop and fill with freshly groumd coffee, insert the same scoop into the machine, poor water into the machine and push a button.
Clean-up is as simple as removing the scoop and rinsing it off. Not quite as eaay as removong a Keurig K-Cup and tossing it but a much better cup of coffee.
The Mini Keurig, the one I currently use in the RV, is going on Craigslist this week.
After many yeats in the xoffee busimess and experimenting with every coffee ,achine known to man, I like the Scoop as far as the single cup types go.

We purchased the newer Black and Decker undercabinet model and are not happy with it. The coffee does not stay hot. We have to microwave every cup as we serve it. We loved our old B & D undercounter model. Stay away from the new one!

I'm seeing a lot of complaints about B&D products in the last couple of years. They used to be a quality product but now... Nuff said.

My under the cabinet coffee maker left coffee and steam stains on the ceiling and it dried out some woodwork. We are replacing ours with a cabinet. Never again will I have one under the cabinet.
