My 2010 3500 Ram does sag more than my 2007.5 GM did but not by much.

Interesting....

I think it's fair to say the '11 F250 with it's new springs squat more than the older F250's.

GM's new models seam to be consistant with their older models.

Number of leaf springs doesn't mean anything when compared to another brand truck. The springs width/thickness/spring length/steel psi rating can be different between the manufacturers.

Jim is right the width and thickness can be a big difference. Donn also brought up a good point with the unloaded rear being higher than the front. When under load and within rating it squats to level, hopefully.
JFYI ours squats 3-4" with a 3200 lb pin weight and not much more with about 5000 lbs of gravel in the box. It would be interesting to know the pin weight of the RV.

My inlaws have a 10 Ram 3500 SRW Quad cab

Truck capacities:
GVWR: 10100
GAWR F: 5500
GAWR R: 6500
GCVWR: 21000
Towing: 13600

Actual loaded weights:
Truck: 10820
Front axle: 4860
Rear Axle: 5960
Trailer axles: 10100
Combined: 20920

They're only 500 lbs under the rear axle capacity and not running bags. I'd say it's a touch down from level in the rear. It has a pretty good tail up unloaded.

It's amazing how a 12000 lb fifth wheel almost taps out their 3500. It has 2000 lbs dry pin weight - ouch!

I see many fords and rams towing with the rear of the truck lower from the load. I think it is the distance between the overload spring and the springs.
air bags will fit the problem if it is a problem.

Thats the reason I went from my 2003 SRW to my current dually. Air bags fixed the sag on the SRW but it didnt feel good going down the road with the Carriage. Upgraded trailer before truck!! Lesson learned.

A shame, since my 2003 5.9L/3.73 got really good mileage in the 19-20 mpg range empty.

Are the tires running the proper presure?

My 08 SRW 3500 does squat a little bit compared the previous Ram SRW 2500 I had pulling the same 5th wheel.

It is a bit noticable at night with the low beams higher than some oncomming drivers would like. I usually avoid towing at night anyway so it isn't too bit a deal.
