ERS , my tires are D rated and 2540 pounds each at 65 PSI. It looks like I have the room for the taller tires. I may have to go up one bolt hole on my reese straight line hitch to keep the trailer level when pulling. My trailer ready to go camping full of water & camping gear & food it was about 8500 pounds. I would have to look up my scale paper but I did weigh one day as I was leaving on a trip. I even unhooked the truck to get the total weight & the tong weight. So my tires can carry my weight OK less 1200 #s on the tong. When I ordered the trailer new I ordered the optional 5200# axles which came with larger brakes & tires. Thats where my trouble started as I got 2 of the axles that the spindles was not welded on straight from the axle company. I ruined 5 tires in about 4000 miles. They put a new set on and now I have one marathon tire I put on as one of my towmax tires blew going down the road. The other towmax tires are wearing soso but the marathon is wearing on outside edge like the axle is out of alignment on that tires camber, but I have seen cheap tires on my truck wear funny and I put on some good Michelins and they wore even so I really don't know if its that one tire or a alignment issue. Anyway back to the tires. I want good quality tires for reliability and long lasting tread wear. I don't really need added weight capacity but thats not a bad thing to have a safty factor on the tires so I'm not running at or over max weight on the tires. I don't have any idea on the pressure capability of my existing rims as I have not seen anything stamped into the rims. They are 6 hole rims though. But they will go if I go with 16" rims. Anyway I would like my tire issues to go away. I want to put the fun back into pulling my trailer. I even bought a tire pressure monitor system that also helped me feel better going down the road. I can watch the tire temperaturers & pressures and it will alarm if out of bounds high or low. I believe in good tires and I have Michelins on my truck and love them. Thats way overkill on the trailer tires but I think the BF Goodrich should be great. I haven't heard anyone on this forum say they were sorry for using them on there trailer or 5vr so thats what I'm going to do I think. I was just curious about the greenballs that Sams sells thats a new name to me but again there are ST tires & I really think ST tires are very inferior compaired to LT tires. Thats my opinion and I'm sticking to it. Thanks Dan

I ran Greenball Transmaster tires for four seasons with no issues. Greenball seems to have a better reputation than most importers of Chinese tires.
