This information may be of value to owners of National RV Motor Homes

Our house voltage would shut off when we attempted to start the generator. This
was intermittent. It gradually got worse. Eventually we had no house electric.
Thought it was the VF7-11F12 relay . However, this is not the plug in type.
Entire electrical board needed replacement. All electrical boards for the house
electric have the same boards on all National coaches. The same to 2003 models.
Then board changed but were still all the same for 2004 and above models.. They
are just fused differently. This board can be purchased for $365.62 from the
manufacturer. They are RV CUSTOM PRODUCTS 14000 Anson Ave. Santa Fe Springs,
CA. 90670, Phone:562-921-8353.

If you are having problems with your house voltage you may need to replace the
entire board unit. Also there are small reset buttons on the side of the unit.
They cannot be seen but are at the front edge and very small. Also a reset
button under the jacks and /or generator. The board indicates this in print.

I too thought my 12V distribution board had gone bad, and even bought and paid for the black solenoid that is part of that distribution board. Once installed, I had the same exact problem. To make a long story short, the supply battery cable had corroded right at the battery clamp terminal, and was making no contact. Once a new cable clamp was installed, all is well again, and I now have an extra solenoid, just in case it ever really goes bad. Check yours, and make sure it isn't the battery cable, like mine was.

See ya out there!!
