Have any of you overnighted-visited here. I was looking for places in the area of Green River to overnight or stay a day and found info on Sego Canyon Rock art. I would like to see it but there was a cautionary note about limited places to turn around. I will be driving a 32 ft MH towing a little pu. Is there a good place to park and stayed hooked up or should I plan on unhooking?

Haven't been there but there looks like a large flat area on the topo before you get to the petroglyphs. You could probably hoof it from there.

Thank you, it looked like a good spot to overnight on our way back from Colorado the first of June.

We were there a couple of years ago in our pickup, as I have pictures of the pictograms and petroglyphs. If it is the road I think I remember, I would at least call the BLM Moab Field Office (435) 259-2100 to check on the road condition before driving a MH pulling a toad. You could also ask about overnighting there at the same time. I seem to remember some places in Thompson that would likely let you overnight. We were staying along UT-128 near Castle Valley and drove up for the day.

Last May we went up Sego and Thompson canyons and came down Floy Wash. the roads were good, Floy was dusty but had a great view of the Monti La Sal mountains. Sego stops at the Indian Reservation and you are not allowed to go past the marker.
We like using the Green river KOA.

Loved your your pics Clattertruck, thank you for the response. It sure looks like a place to spend the day at least. If that is where we decide to overnight I will plan on unhooking the pu and doing a little looking around and picture taking.
