I put a backup camera on my truck a few weeks ago and this weekend I was able to put the second half on my Trailer. Here it is on the back on the trailer.

I ran the cable across the roof and down the Fridge vent, snaked it all the way to the bottom of the trailer and then to the front where I mounted the plug.

I bought some Roof repair tape to secure the wire to the roof, but it wasn't working. I have to get a different type of tape.
Then I put in a plug in the bunk house to plug in a space heater.

I then wired that plug up to a Male A/C outlet on the outside of the camper so that I can plug that in to the 15 amp circuit on the power pole.

I am very happy with how everything turned out.

I like your plug idea, i did the same, but used same outside box as power cable. Now have two boxes, and two power cables. One 30 amp, and one 15 amp. Used a hd contractors extension cord. Thanks for sharing.

I am curious as to how useful the camera on the back of the trailer is. When you have a chance to try it out, will you please post your thoughts?
Thanks!

I can tell you that having a camera on the rear of the trailer is very helpful. it`s nice to be able to see what is going on behind you instead of just wondering.

Nice work.
I have never had an RV that I did not modify or install additional accessories. Matter of fact, most things I buy I modify including lawn equipment and vehicles.
I am (was) a mechanical engineer by profession; this may be the reason for all the modifications.

The technical term is "flanged inlet". Search online for "NEMA 5-15 Flanged inlet" and you'll find several places to get one.
