OK my truck isn't REAL old, (2003) but it sure isn't new. Friday is nine years to the day since I bought it new. This last weekend I jumped in, fired it up and as I started driving I thought, "I still love this old truck"! It has 146K miles, has gone through two trailers, hauls the occasional load of gravel/dirt/beauty bark etc, takes me hunting and fishing, and sometimes just to the grocery store, and it still puts a smile on my face. It's never let me down, and still looks great. The other day I was at the bank ATM and the guy that had used it before me turns around and asked "What year is your truck?" After I told him he said "It's beautiful". Made me feel good all over again. Would I like a new one? Sure, but it just isn't in the budget yet, but for now the 'ol girl is workin just fine!

Now has 233,000 miles on it and getting it ready for the 2012 camping season!

91 F-150, regular cab, 5 speed, 4WD, 150,000 miles.
It doesn't get used much anymore and I should sell it, but...I LIKE IT.

I loved mine until one day when I was backing it up to hook up the 5th wheel and the lower A Arm on the right front broke. No warning it just broke.

After I fixed it, every time I drove it I worried about the left side A Arm breaking while towing on the freeway. I can't imagine what an accident that would end up being.

After that failure I started to look for a new truck. I still have the old one, I keep it for hauling stuff in town.

Sure but it's really ancient being a 2009 with 43000 miles on it.

2002 F350 7.3PSD with 6 speed 4x4. Ought to fix the cruise as that's the only problem I've had.

2002 F-150 with 155K miles on it. Now I wish it had a bigger V8 in it, only has the 4.6 L - but then again I drove it for 8 years before I got my trailer!!!

1980 C10 Silverado given to me by Dad. Was his small grocery/butcher shop truck

I ordered it for him after some heated discussions that he needed a 7,600GVWR (3/4 ton
of that era)

Only got him to get the 'Big Ten', or heavy half (today's HD or superduty)

Just over 500,000 miles. 3rd engine (performance crate with a cam), 2nd tranny
(rebuilt) and new 3.73's

I put in 1 ton helper coils on the rear after seeing brother coming back from
the wholesale house and it was on the bumper stops and the tires squished

They never went more than 50 miles per day. Going/coming to work. Picking up
sides of beef, canned goods, produce market, etc.

Frame is still bent from the time I borrowed it to work on some windgenerators
up in Tehacahapi Mountains. All four corner sheetmetal have dings from it being
both my daughters first ride.

Not worth much, other than sentimental value...am keeping it till either I can't
fix it anymore, or don't want to (not likely)
