I used my new card several times on my way home to Canada from Texas this spring. Today I got my statement by email. Imagine my surprise when I was unable to pay the charges through the Pilot Flying J web site.

After two phone calls and several different attempts to do an online payment I was told by the credit department that the Canadian side of the online payments was not yet set up and I could pay the charges by mail sent to a company in Toronto, Canada.

I am surprised and disappointed that this card was released before being properly set up.

I am now concerned that my payment will not be properly handled and that I may be charged interest due to delayed payment.

I hope that Pilot Flying J act quickly to correct this issue before other Canadians suffer the same frustration I have.

So what's the problem? The electronic thing will work itself out in time; give'em a chance. Hope you enjoyed your winter in Texas.

We back woods folks here down south used an incredible tool for over a century that still works reasonably well today! Postal Mail & a stamp. Give'er a try!

Happy camping!!! See y'all down the road!!!

I think you are making a big deal out of nothing. Just write a check and mail it to the Toronto address. Isn't that how we paid ALL bills just a few years ago?????

I get your frustration! After getting used to electronic payments, not having the option can be incovenient. Hopefully they'll have it sorted out soon.

We have the same issue with our US Macy's account, they cannot be paid electronically.

You can write a US cheque if your Canadian bank allows it. My bank used to but no longer does because they are trying to sell people on opening a US account.

In the end I found it was no big deal, I just get a US money order at the post office and mail it in.

I have the card but do not use it. My VISA card gives me a better savings discount
per dollar than the Pilot Flying J Card does per gallon.

Funny, but I pay my Macy's bill online. It is through something called "checkfree."

I understand the op's frustration though. You get your bill, you wait until it is close to the due date to pay. Then you go online and can't pay online. Now you have to mail a check that will possibly be late due to the close day of the due date. Then you will be charged late fees. That would suck.

Used my RVPilot Card about a month ago and have been waiting for the statement.
It came today, via email and an attachment. Tried to open the attachment and got a warning from my Norton Anti-virus, not to do that. Called the Customer Service number on the card and got to speak to a very nice person, I think female, from what seemed to be a foreign country. All my opinion, but there was a delay in the conversation and I could hear my voice speaking to her after I finished talking. I explained my situation and I was immediately told "this is the only statement I will receive". I told them I couldn't open the attachment, because of my security system. Here first answer was that I should disable my security system. I told her, that was not going to happen. She next asked if I had a fax machine and I said I did not. She then said she would send the statement to me as a PDF and this was the only copy of the statement I would receive. I was able to open the PDF without a problem. This is going to be fun, if it continues this way every month.

I forwarded the email with the attachment to my wife's confuser and she got the same results. Totally different security system.

wow, that really isn't good to hear .... yesterday while returning from camping in Chesapeake, Va to our home in NC I almost stopped at a Pilot to use our card for the first time .... I'm happy now that I decided at the last second to do so .... hopefully, as the program is in place longer they will get things figured out
