Was over in Bullhead City AZ last week probably one of the hotter places around during the summer. I had to have a local mobile repair guy come out as my air conditioner had quit. After repairing it he recommended I get some pipe wrap insulation and wrap the two cold air lines in each of my roof airs. He would have done it for me but did not have any insulation with him. Spent $2.59 at Lowes today for the tape and did both airs. It feels like they are putting out more cold but I have no real way to test this.

I've never heard of wrapping them. Cleaning them produces an incredible change in cooling.

Also after my first summer in Florida the mobile repair guys instructed me that in that type of heat putting your fan on low instead of high helps prevent it from freezing up. AND the addition of a dehumidifier to assist the a/c both made a big difference in my MH's A/C's capabilities of keeping the coach colder.
