Well, it's that time of year again, in the northwest... we've had more than 2 days in a row with no rain or snow, so..... time to get the trailer ready!!!!

Time to figure out where we want to go this year, and book now, so we aren't disappointed... and then re-stock.... Camping here really doesn't start until May long weekend, so that gives me about a month to get it all together!!!!

My goal this year is to learn how to comfortable drive with the HTT and back up, so I'm not reliant on hubby to come with us each time........ GAWD help me!!!! LOL Altho' I figure I could probably pull up at most any campground, and find someone to back in for me!!!!

Can't wait to read thru this years suggestions, for tips and tricks....

I wish my DW wanted to learn to tow. 15 years of camping together and she has no inclination to learn. Probably for the best as I'm not the best passenger

I suggest you hook up and head to an empty parking lot to practice. Master backing up and learn your turning radius and your ready.

Practice hooking and unhooking the WDH.

Make and follow a predeparture checklist for when you are on your own.

Good luck and have fun.

Thanks guys!!! I'm OK at the pre-departure gig... but I LOVE the checklist idea ~(Why didn't I think of that!!!) LOL

I drove home last year from one of our sites...but it was on the highway, and geesh... it was HARD keeping up to highway speeds!!!!! Maybe, I'll have to take the back roads!!!!

I'll let you know how it goes....
