That is a question that plagues us all and think the best answer I can give is call the tire dealer. My dealer has me at 65psi(dually) for towing my 5ver

What's the hitch weight? How much weight are you putting in the back of the truck? What is the tire rating? What do you mean by stock tire pressure? Does your owners manual or door sticker give loaded and unloaded tire pressures? Hard question to answer.

When I had my stock P rated tires on my 10 F150 I ran them maxed at 44psi. I wanted all the stability I could get. To me the door sticker psi is not for a full load in the truck. It's the empty trucks weight. Load the truck up and air up the tires is what I've always done. Maybe I'm wrong but I've never had a problem with maxed out psi on stock tires when loaded.

The correct pressures for your truck are on the driver's door post. If you run that pressure, you will be OK up to your max GAWR.

Hi.
Check the side wall information for the tires you are using. Find the "COLD" pressure requirement.
Check tire pressure about 5am. Which is usually the coldest part of the day.
I keep my tire about 5 pisg lower to than the side wall information.
As the tire roll's the air pressure will expand. Remember the hotter the road temp gets the bigger the tire will try to get.
Also check the weight of you RV it will add heat as well. Make sure your tires can handle the weight. under size tires will give you a pain

You need to weight the rig and find out your axle weights. Look up the tire manufacturers load inflation table and see how much pressure is required to support the weight you have. That is the only way to know.

I max mine out. (current tires 2271 lbs at 44 psi when towing). ( Last set 2601 lbs at 50 psi) when towing. Have had no problem in 30 years. Running at max when towing makes the TV more stable. Even though the TV is not maxed out on weight. Remember. It does not have to carry the trailer, only the tongue weight.

Is this for all tires or the stock tires, if so, then I and maybe others get wrong info. from dealers.

If in doubt, better to err on the high side but no more than the max sidewall pressure.
