I've been looking at small TT's, mostly online, for a year. I have several models that I'm very interested in, but can't find where they are. That is, there are some dealers around, but they don't anticipate getting these models in (I'm looking for smaller TT's, 16-20 foot).
Is there a specific site, or way to search, where I could, for example, find where a KZ 170S would be located?
Or is there another way to find TT's. I've only owned one RV, the pup I now have and haven't gone shopping around for TT's before.
I don't know if I'm going about the search incorrectly, or I just have to keep "Googling' models and if I find one 3 states away, take a field trip.
Thanks.

You can also add a major city or a state to your Google search, like "kz spree escape 170s dallas" to see if there are any nearby (assuming you live in Dallas ).

No problem finding dealers. Issue is that dealers don't stock all models and smaller TT's are much more difficult to find around here I'm in Chicago area). The dealer may represent the manufacturer, but they just don't stock stuff that doesn't sell as well. I have a couple of different makes/models that local dealers told me they have no intention of bringing in.
Thats a tough one I personally would need to see, touch, etc. any rig I was interested in. And, being such a major purchase and something you live in I wouldn't think twice about a road trip if it was indeed the "Right One"

We had similar problems, finding our new TT. We had 5 -6 makes / models on our short list and none of the local dealers, had any stock on hand. The one we finally selected, is still not available. We made a couple (3 - 4) field trips and visited three RV shows. None of our short list models were at the shows. The field trips helped narrow the search.
Best we could do, was, look at other floor plans from manufacturers of our short list units. That gave us an idea of fit and finish, quality, options, and fabric colors. Then go to nearest dealer of our selected brand and special order the trailer.
Because you have a camping world there I'd ask them. Even though it isn't listed at their local location. If they have it at another store they can order it from there and have it to you with in a couple weeks. Best part is you don't have to go pick it up.
We discussed this with them when all the trailers we were looking at were midwest or east coast.
You also have to consider where the trailer is manufactured and be carefull to look at the floor plans and options.
As and example with Keystone, they make several models of the same trailer but they are not available in all locations. This is what makes camping world a good option. They don't care if the trailer is in wyoming. They will send it to your local dealer and you can pick it up. No harm no foul.
