The only thing they have in common is they are hard working, usually educated and have a love of some of the aspects of RVing, be it the ability to travel on a whim, the ability to sleep in their own bed every night (very important to many sales and management people who have spent many a night in hotels and motels traveling for business), or just the ability to leave the city and get out where there is nature and elbow room. It is a shame that success in this country has evolved into a trait that is not celebrated, but instead is derided. Everyone who makes more money than you do must have cheated. They could be two retired enlisted military who saved their money while working, and bought a used Prevost with their savings.
Thanks for the enlightened post.
How can anyone with a MH like that afford that toad?
Just poor military folks.

It's really amazing how much people want to talk to us about the bus. Every time I go out, he has an audience while he gives the "bus tour" . We're currently in a city park and feel like part of the area attractions.
We do remember that prior to looking at this Prevost, we had never seen the inside of one, and until we paid for this one, we had never driven one. If anyone sees us in a campground, come over, we travel to meet people and talk just like all of us do.

See now.....that`s just terrible! that should be mine!!!! nice setup.
I agree. when you buy used you can have the best of the best, but at a later time! hopefully that will be me some day.
And next time take a picture without the sun shining on it! it`s hard to see it otherwise! and please take a picture with a wide angle lens so we can see the whole thing.
Thanks Dodge guy! Here's a few more pics without the sun:
I got the deal of a lifetime on my little TT, 24ft with two slides. I couldn't pass it up. I like it because there is very little or next to nothing that can go wrong with it. Maintenance is easy, check the tires, batteries, yearly leak test, and wash it every couple of weeks.
As others have said, to each his own. But when I read about buying six tires for a motorhome I grit my teeth, not to mention all the bells and whistles that might break in the future not to mention the depreciation. Yes I know, it is just money and better to enjoy life now.
I know lots of rich people here in Mexico. Those that are founders, inventors, etc. dress like bums and drive regular cars. One even has a Mercedes with bullet proof glass and fancy curtains. He prefers to drive his 97 Cadillac. I see him on the beach sometimes at South Padre Island. You would think he was picking up cans or something. Super nice guy but knows the value of a peso. My older brother and my dad, the same way. My mom was embarrassed to go grocery shopping with him My brother owned an insurance company, made millions. He drives a 99 Subaru.
I enjoy going to rv shows going through the motorhomes and high-end fivers but what I want is something I can hide away in, be inconspicuous, get away from it all and enjoy nature.
I am even considering a tent now, with folding cots, chairs and a table. I figure I can get further away from it all.
