My 5th wheel has a group 27 bat. in a sealed and vented box with a 2" vent tube out the top and out the side wall of the unit! now I want to add two Trojan T-105 6 volt batterys, I can not find a sealed and vented box that will hold 2 GC batterys, I have called NOCO and Quick box and they no have ! they do have standard box that will hold 2 GC batterys but no vent . Does any one know of any Manufactured battery box that will be safe to get the hydrogen gas out and away form any thing that could make a spark ?

I went to a marine battery box, and then vented it out the bottom and into the top with the original vents.
The box is a Blue Sea and holds two 6-volt perfectly. You can see my vent on the right, and there is one straight out the bottom in the box sump. I took the old box and cut out the top and bottom vent stacks with a slightly larger diameter cut to make a flanged end, then stuck them into new holes in the new battery box.

Great looking battery box! With the Blue Sea, how tightly did the lid fit....did you need to seal it also? Thanks I am looking to do this project.

It's not a complete seal because of the cable ports. Otherwise the lid does screw down to the rim with the large knobs.

I sweated over this issue too, and even battled my dealer over their choice of box when they installed my two 6 volts. I gave them my used batteries from the old trailer and had them installed before delivery. They did not use a sealed box, or even attach the vent hose. They assured me that it was not a problem.
I was pissed, but decided to deal with it on my own, and after careful review of the enclosed area on my fiver, and review of what others do on their fivers, I ended up leaving it as is. That front enclosure is far from sealed on my trailer anyway. After a year and a half, there has been no corrosion of any equipment in the compartment. The batteries are in a box which will contain the electrolyte if any should boil out. But venting is not an issue. The compartment gets plenty of air flow throughout.

Since my front compartment is directly under the head of our bed, I chose to find sealed, vented (is that an oxymoron?) boxes for my extra batteries. I ended up going back to Keystone for 2 more boxes that matched the original one they installed. It turned out cheaper than anything I found on-line.

I just upgraded my single group 27 to 2 group 27's.I ended up buying a Dyno battery box from fisheries supply. Maybe Dyno makes one that will fit your need.I cut the vent hose mounts off the old box and epoxied them onto the new box for the hose mounting. The box was a little taller than I needed so I cut it down which got rid of the large cable cutouts and I drilled new holes with rubber gromments for a tighter fit and chafe protection. The lid wasn't sealed but I ran a strip of foam tape around the lid to make my own seal. Here's a link to my post.

How come they don't put sealed and vented battery boxes in cars and trucks. I'm not being a wise guy but I can't believe this is nessary. If your battery is in a inclosed plastic box with a cover and the compartment has air flowing through it I think sticking a hose to the outside is overkill.

Car & Truck batteries don't go thru the endless deep discharge and high recharge rates that deep cycle RV batteries do is one thought. That's a lot of time with the batteries making lots of Hydrogen. Also when parked there is no real airflow. Hydrogen gas is very dangerous in sufficient concentration. I don't think that a vent hose is overkill. Just prudent.
As for battery boxes - check Fisheries Supply. They carry 2 and 4 battery boxes. I just put one in my rig. They do not have a vent so I made one myself that my existing hose attaches to.
