Luke--nice box!! I notice the four spaces at the bottom, is it for four batteries? What did you spray it with? Is that a battery selector switch?

Yes, for 4 six volt batteries. Sprayed with bed liner. The battery switch sounded like a good idea at the time. Even to shut them off and lock it---but never use it. Just leave it on "both."

You can see in the middle bottom a vent. Have one out the top to a hose also.

I think this means he has a ttop and bottom vent. At least that is how I understood it.

I'm not trying to start something but as nice as your box looks air has to move and I don't think it can go in and come back out the same hose. I would be worried about heat build up in that style box. Also gas fumes can't get out,this is why a vented battery box has air spaces where the cables go in and come out.
