I'm not trying to find out if the TC can be lowered to the ground with the jacks. I'm trying to determine if the TC can be mounted on a flatbed without without something getting crunched because it sticks down. My flatbed is 8' wide and 8'-6" long.

Your question asked about sitting on the ground. My answer was that It can't sit on the ground. I already answered your question about the skirts being lower so why would you ask it again by changing "flatbed" to "ground"?

Just cornfusion as we say here in Indiana. I was just trying to find out if the skirts are below the bottom of the "belly" of the TC. Whether is sits on the ground or on a flatbed, I just used the ground as an illustration to find out. I've seen pictures of others w/ a TC mounted on a flatbed and it didn't look like the skirts were below the center of the TC.
