For those who have seen the movie or read the book, "Into The Wild", is this a story that Fulltimers, at least to some degree or another, can relate to or connect with?

I have seen the movie. Having been to some of the places in the movie is the only connection that I made.

I don't understand. What does full timing in an RV have to do with going off into the wilderness without any planning or proper provisions?

When I was in Nova Scotia on the coast I found Sea Peas. The locals said they were edible. I picked a mess of them and was going to cook them. Then I remembered that the guy died from eating poisonous peas that looked similar to sea peas. I threw them away.

I do not know about some of you, going through the military survival training, was enough for me, some of the bugs we had to eat where not THAT tasty, that's why I have a Motor HOME, with all the nice camping commodities, done the tent camping, VW bus convertion, now we are full timers, enjoying retirement.

Don't get me wrong, we love to go places, I just do not like to rough it that much any more.

Happy camping to all
