The interiors are way outdated too.
I'm sure they will remedy that.
Very easy. Bring back the 8.1.
I like the sound of that! But, we know it will never happen.
The current LS engine is capable of 500ci. But yes, it will never happen.
I'd like to see something in the 7.0L/427ci range.
We'll see what happens. Ford and Ram have set the bar high in the half ton market. Perhaps the next generation GM can meet it. I have read it will be several hundred pounds lighter and will be powered by more efficient powerplants, most likely direct injection. The new GM is building some good products these days and I'm quite sure the new pickups will be among their best. Like them or not, GM is America's car company and what's good for GM is good for the industry. Hopefully the old days of building to a budget standard rather than quality are gone.
I don't see anything about this truck that would make me want it more than a Dodge.
Your kidding right. You cant see anything. Its wearing camo made to confuse the shape of the truck. You know nothing of the engine, interior or exterior in any real detail. When the truck releases or is leaked in detail you may still not want it, but making that statement right now seems...........silly, but maybe your trying to be funny.

So this is not a 2014 product. The normal trucks will come out in 2013/2014, but the heavy duty product is year(s) later.

aclay: How does that rig of yours handle the trailer? We have the same trailer except we are looking to upgrade to a 2013 Jayco Eagle 28.5 RLS. Wanting to know if worth the 8K to upgrade to an oil burner. Thanks.
It pulls very well. We towed the 26BH with a Yukon XL 5.3 to start with. I thought that was ok except in the hills. Major differences. The Truck has more power, better brakes (along with compression brake), and more solid feel. My truck rides better when towing. Gas mileage is ok, around 12-14 towing. 36 gallon tank is good, but not great. Power is near unlimited, on small grades not even a downshift. And only difference between 2500-3500 is rear leaf springs, small $$ difference. I love the duramax, barely hear it at cruising speed.
I am thinking about upgrading to a bigger trailer too, that's one of the reasons I wanted a bigger truck.

Remember back in the late 80's when that old lady was on a Commercial "Don't Buy No Ugly Truck" well this truck is coming back out. GM has a great Engine and Transmission but one of the ugliest, tall, and junky quality trucks on the market. Why do they make these trucks so tall, folks like myself towing a 5th wheel do not need a tall truck to deal with. I will stick with the Super Duty.
