We have cinnamon rolls for breakfast at least once, maybe twice if we are gone for a week or so. Yum!

Hi All.

I guess we are odd-balls. As we don't buy anything special for any trips, Period.

We eat very healthy at home and while we Travel also. We also almost never eat out either. I'm a much better cook than most places have anyways.

I have been a Cheif, and a Full Servie Baker. So there is nothing that I can't fix myself that is better for us. We hardly use any salt either. And we don't eat Junk Food, Period.

So there is nothing special that we need to buy for any trips, that we don't already have on hand all the time anyways. We also don't Drink or Smoke either.

No trounle keeping Fuel in our Motorhomes Gas Tank. What we do really enjoy, is just about Perfect Health.

Thats what works for us anyways. May not be for everyone, but it sure is good for us. Good Luck. Happy Travels. Dan & Jill

And my flavored (fru-fru) beer. Too expensive for driveway drinking. Because it's flavored, no one touches it but ME!

Pie iron pie made with refrigerated biscuit dough, precooked chicken, and lots of good cheddar. I haven't really found any way to duplicate it at home.

That's probably a good thing. LOL

That sounds really good!

For me, steak on the grill, biscuits for breakfast - either cooked in the Dutch oven or fried in butter on the stove.

The little cereal boxes of Junk cereal for the kids, once they are gone there are gone and it is back to 7 grain cereal for breakfast.

I also will buy the premade vegie trays if we are going to be driving a long way the first day.

Bottled water, we have great water at home and never have bottled water there.

For me, it's cherry pie filling to put inside the bread for our sandwich makers that go on the campfire.

[peanut butter filled pretzels from Costco]

I love those things! We cant buy them in advance, cause they wont make the trip!

[Thought I was going to be the first to post wine, coolers, beer, little something something for the coffee around the campfire. It is a strange thing but we don't drink at home, just around that darn campfire...lol. I think once it becomes a retirement thing that will stop or we would be half snapped the rest of our lives. ]

We just talked about the same thing. When we retire, we will not be able to start the beers in mid afternoon everyday........

We always get some kind of bean dip (can't remember the name) and a big bag of Fritos. Goes great with an ice cold beer.
