I need to be able to carry extra fresh water to refill my fifth wheel when I'm parked away from a water source. I saw a 75 gallon Husky water bladder for around $250. Size is good for what I want. Anybody used one? Any other suggestions?

I have used a 40 gallon bladder for years and love it. When I am done with it I just fold it up and put it in a box that also carries my transfer pump and hose. I find it much better than barrels etc.

Last season I used a twin size air bed for a water bladder. Made up a fitting to attach the hose with a shut off valve. Holds about 75 gallons Use a pump to pump it into the FW tank. Works great and rolls up into a small size when not in use. (PS air bed is $13 at Walmart.)

I've used the 45 gal bladder from CW for 15 years. Same one with no leaks and fits in a box about the size of a large cigar box. Cost about $85 if I remember right.

Where I'll be I need to be able to transport around 75 to 100 gallons at a time. My Onboard freshwater tank is 100 gallons. I was wondering if the Husky or the CW bladders have a rubber taste as does water from some hoses. I have a good 12v Shurflow pump already on hand and can make up some hose connections. The Husky 75 or 100 gallon bladders seem good for my purpose. I just don't know about durability or taste of the water. If there's some other brand along the same size that anyone's had good experiences with I'd be interested in that. I can't carry a tank while traveling so the collapsible bladder seems best. Thanks.

Sorry but it did just occur to me that two of those 50 gallon bladders available at CW would be cheaper than one 100 gallon Husky. Anyone know of construction comparisons?

I talked to many people using them while in Quartzsite (at the watering hole, not much else to do while filling up) and all were very pleased with the construction of the CW product. One fellow had been using his for 4 years. None mentioned any plastic taste either.

I have a 50 gallon tank that can fit under the tonneau cover. It's plastic. I just bought a 45 gallon fold up container from CW. I haven't used it yet but will come the holiday week or two in May. My plan is to use gravity to feed the tank on the 5er. It works with the 50 gal. one, it should work with the fold up one.....I hope.

CW has a picture of the 45-gal bladder on top of a pickup roof allowing gravity feed of water into the trailer. Can a pickup roof handle 375 pounds of water OK?
