Some of you may know that the hensley and propride are very similar hitches, I weighed all of this out in jan-feb and decided on the propride. On feb27th I got the quote on the PP, sean at PP wanted to know what hensley had quoted me and I had no trouble telling him. Hensley's quote was 12 equal payments with no interest. Sean at propride quickly matched it and even beat them by 2 hundred with 12 payments no interest.Great I put in my order on 3-5 after 2-3 weeks I had heard nothing so I called back and he said he had DROPED THE BALL and that he would get it built and shipped in a week or so. It is now another month and I have not heard anything again. I hate it has worked out like this because I realy wanted the PP. Just venting sorry.

I'm kinda suprised as having been over on the Airstream forum reading about HA's and PP's, Sean was putting HA down pretty regularly. I guess he needs a lesson in walking the talk. Back to your rant, I'd be very dissapointed as well.

Maybe Propride, a start up company, is having cash flow, manufacturing, or other problems. Hensley has always produced whatever they said they would do. Sometimes its best to stick with the originals.

I'd cancel my order and buy the Hensley.

Yep... Sean obviously doesn't want (or maybe need) your business. Cancel and call Hensley.

Wow....I'm a past Hensley owner but from what I know, Sean has always had a reputation of excellent customer service......I'm actually quite surprised.

Sean has been quite vocal on the forums taking shots at Hensley and Hensley has thrown their share of mud too. Listening to Sean has always said to me he wants to be considered as good if not better than Hensley in everything he does - something tells me an Arrow would be on its way tomorrow if you ordered it first thing in the a.m.

If I know Sean........he will respond here, let's see. Good luck regardless. When paying what we/you pay for either of these hitches, waiting should NOT be an issue.

I ordered a propride on march 5 as well. Mine arrived yesterday! I was speaking with Sean about 3 weeks ago and learned that there was a part on back order for literally 14 or 15 units. Even if Sean dropped the ball, I would imagine that your hitch was caught up in the missing part batch, as was mine. I would recommend calling him, expressing your disappointment and seeing if he can make it up to you. The product is worth the wait! Moreover PP gets heir reputation from great customer service, let them prove their worth to you. There also may be an issue/misunderstanding about the terms of payment. The fulfillment people at PP may not be making the hitch until your payments are made (kind of like a lay-away payment plan). I know that if I owned PP, I would want the money upfront before shipping a $2,000 product. It would be worth figuring out if there is a Misunderstanding of some sort. Good luck!

No there is no misunderstanding about the payment plan, it was the same one hensley offers. You place your order when its ready they call you and you give them your debit/credit card info and they charge it for the first payment and ship it. and then they charge it 11 more times once each month. this is the deal they both offer so there is no misunderstanding. now if he is not able to make hitches as fast as he can sale them than thats fine. If he sends them to the people who can pay all at once and not to those of us who choose his payment plan thats his choice, But dont just leave us hanging infact just tell us you cant do buisiness with us. I could have had the hensley 3 days after it was ordered if I wanted it but I decided on the PP. I just wasted 2-3 months of researching, and ordering something that has never showed up that what gets me.

Let us know how this works out. If there is any delay Sean should call or e-mail you about it. You should not have to call him and find out he dropped the ball. If back ordered parts are now arriving then your hitch should be on the way as others are getting theirs. Something is amiss here.
