Pulled the trigger yesterday on a 2005 Arctic Fox Silver Fox Edition. It is loaded with solar and everything. Found it on Craiglist for 10k. Needs a good cleaning and waxing. Has all new batteries, water heater, awnings never used, ran genny with AC on all OK. No signs of leaks. looks like no one ever stayed in the thing. Can't wait to get it home. Ordered the torklifts and fastguns. Contemplating adding a sway bar and air bags for my 2012 Ram Dually. I'll get it home and re-seal around lights. Put eternabond on seams etc.
Anything I should look out for with this rig and what are your recommendations for equipment needed for the truck?? Thanks for your time.

Used to have an 06 1150. Great but heavy TC. Ensure the roof is sealed and take care of it and you'll love it. You'll be spoiled by the AF huge holding tanks. Not much to say as ours was really trouble free. Hope your is as well.

Spend the extra and replace all the outside marker lights with sealed LEDs. The old style leaked thru the seam in the lense causing water to get into the light itslef and then leaking back thru the wire hole.Just sealing around the light itself is not a "fix".
If you have the front window, you will want to pay particular attention to those rubber seals.

Congrats!~!~!~!
As far as modding the truck I would wait and see how it handles, sits first. Then address any problems with the proper mods.
No sense buying something that turns out you didn't need!!!

Congrats on the new addition. Sounds like it's decked out. You've gotten good advice so far. If you plan on boondocking I would would check the batteries. If they are RV/Marine hybrids or quality batteries from 2005 ditch them and buy new Lifeline AGMs.

Your going to like the space...Wet or dry bath? They both are a little tight but when the slide is open...it's great!
