Here's my all-time favorite trail mix recipe to take on hiking and backpacking trips. I like my trail mix on the salty side, so it's heavy on the nuts. Add more fruit if you like yours sweeter.

1 cup Planter's Nut-rition cashews, almonds, and macadamia nuts
1/4 cup Snyder's mini pretzels
1/4 cup dried mixed berries (cranberries, cherries, & blueberries)
1/4 cup Reese's Pieces
1/4 cup chocolate-covered coffee beans

My favorite part is the chocolate-covered coffee beans. They are delicious! Plus they pack a caffeine punch, which gives me more energy on the trail.
Just don't eat this right before bedtime!

I've no house in the city, just a camping tent in the wild.
