This is for Marcus and is a concern to me and I bet others. That is the topic of unexpected problems in RV parks. I have been in a park were they did not tell anyone in their ads that they have high voltage wires running over head in the park and that within 100 yards was a big high voltage substation. I know studies on the effects of high voltage on humans is still out but if I would have known that there was high voltage wires near the campground I would have not stayed. Also, my wife has experience some very bad bullying in one park. How do we cope with these problems? I have been thing of setting up a web page to address these types of problems in RV parks. We have also experenced closed groups in parks (clicks)and bullying. We left one park because I was worrried about my wifes safty and lost 3 weeks of rent. I think we need any advocate for RVers safty in some of these unknown parks. I am not trying to cause problems but I bet this happens to a lot of RVers...THANK YOU

Not sure you need to directly ask the CEO of a multimillion corporation such personal questions.
Bullying is easy - STAND up for yourself!

If you stay home, pull your shades, you may avoid all the problems you mentioned. I have been rving for 5 yrs. and have never occurred the things you listed. If I did, it did not bother me. If my wife encountered "Bully", I would handle it myself and very quickly. Manup and you will be okay.

I agree... why in the world are you pointing this message at Marcus? Even if the park you're talking about is an Good Sam Park...without telling him the name/place of the park, he can't do anything about it.
I have always found that if I don't like the rv park, I just fire up the mh and move on down the road. The $30 bucks I'd lose would be worth it.
There's already websites that you can check on how others have liked or disliked different rv parks. It's called rvparksreview.com. Check out the next place you want to stay.

ps by the way, the word is "safety" not safty...

Hey Marcus: we haven't had any sunshine in the park we are staying in for the last 4 days. What are you going to do about it?

I always wondered why some basic questions need to go straight up to the CEO, but maybe that's just me. And you. LOL

The problem here is he paid for a month and felt he couldn't leave. If we are going to a new park for an extended period of time we check the reviews first and then pay for a week. If we like the park and the area then we'll go for the monthly rate. Never had a problem, but it doesn't hurt to be careful.

While I understand your concern with the high voltage radiation, it not being advertised would be something you should have taken up with the park management…
“but if I would have known that there was high voltage wires near the campground I would have not stayed.”
Now if you are really that concerned why in the world did you stay in the first place???
The bullying issue… if you wife is being bullied so frequently and so harshly there must be something she (your wife) is doing to draw that attention…
even if the park is mostly seasonal and they are as you put it closed groups… that is their problem and shouldn’t in itself be a problem for you… if anything I imagine in that situation they would most likely avoid or ignore you and your wife … that might be rude, or uncomfortable for you and make your stay not so enjoyable… while its never ok to bully someone, and since it seems to have happened several times to your wife it may be caused by her reaction to their closed group, and no I am not justifying the bullying nor would I put up with it… sometimes we need to look inward, everything has a cause and effect relationship and the bullying might stop with some self modification…
Like others I have been camping a very long time and have encountered some closed groups but have not experienced this…
Good luck…
